What is a leads group?
Leads groups are made up of individuals from different categories of businesses. The object of each group is to build personal contacts throughout the community, and to assist each other in finding new sources of prospects and new avenues for business.
Membership in the group is restricted to only one person per profession or specialty. Each chamber leads group is facilitated by an elected leads group chairperson who conducts meetings, maintains the group’s membership, and helps promote the group’s objectives.
Being a member of a leads group requires a commitment to attend the group on a consistent basis. Missing three months in a row without notifying the chair of your situation may be grounds for replacing you with another member who would like to fill your business category. |

Biz to Biz
The primary goal is to create and maintain an effective networking environment. Business categories are usually commercial oriented, (i.e. business-to-business) with some retail oriented business. The meeting includes open networking, introductions of everyone, and a detailed presentation by one or two of the members. Membership in Biz to Biz involves a commitment from the members to attend the meetings, and provide a minimum of three leads per quarter.
The meetings take place on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month at 8:00 am at the chamber office. We also meet on the 5th Thursday of months that have 5 Thursday’s.

Downtown Networking Partners
This group is comprised of small business owners generally located in the downtown Fort Lauderdale area. The group has a culture of working together closely as a team and making sure each member is successful. In addition to being a good source of referrals, the group is dedicated to creating a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. The group meets every Wednesday except the second Wednesday of the month.
The group may get together on the off week (2nd Wednesday of the month) after hours in a more social environment.

GLBX Referral Advantage Leads Group
This group meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Chamber office at 8am. The GLBX Referral Advantage leads group was started by the GLBX council, which is the Chamber's Gay and Lesbian Business eXchange. The group is open to any business interested in doing business with the gay community, and has a diverse membership. The Referral Advantage group also has "power teams" which are sub-groups that work very closely together to promote other businesses in a synergistic way. Each leads group member is asked to produce one lead or guest per calendar month, and active participation and attendance is required.

Power Partners
The purpose of this group is to grow businesses by exchanging qualified referrals with fellow members. Toward that end, we meet every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at the Chamber office to build relationships and educate fellow members about what we do and how to identify our ideal customer or client.

Synergy Leads Group
This group is actively looking for new business partners and would welcome any business (not already represented by another identical business category) from any location of the greater Fort Lauderdale area to become a committed viable member of their networking leads group. The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month in the Chamber’s Briefing Room. The synergy created by the sum of their members will make everyone’s business successful!

Weston Business Leads Groups
This group meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday mornings at 8:00am at the OfficeEdge building located at 1580 Sawgrass Corporate Parkway, Suite 130 in Sunrise, FL. The main entrance is across from the Ford dealership on Sunrise Boulevard just off the Sawgrass Parkway. This group is comprised of small business owners generally located on the west side of the county, and typically represents businesses in the Weston, Plantation and Sunrise areas.
