| Attending events and passing out your business card
is only the BEGINNING. People tend to do business with people they know and
trust. As you gather business cards and make strategic alliances, follow up
with an email or phone call and meet for coffee, lunch, etc. Learn about their
business and their target market, best prospects, and share that same
information with them about your business. Building business and relationships
takes time and energy. If possible, give a referral to them, and you’re likely
to get one back. Getting involved in a group is a good way to meet and connect

| A leads group is a great way to get started building
relationships and strategic alliances with other members. Generally, leads
groups are business-category specific networking meetings which meet twice
monthly for the purpose of members referring business to other members. Contact

Committee as recognition for a member who has shown outstanding service to the
