 The mission of the Trustee program is to involve Senior Executives in leadership roles the opportunity to meet and form alliances with other community leaders. This is offered through monthly Trustee receptions and Board of Directors/Trustee luncheons available only to the member designated as such, as well as round table discussions and forums maximizing your opportunity to learn and network. |

We are happy to unveil the new Trustee Ambassador Program. The purpose of the Trustee Ambassador Program is to extend the warmth and hospitality of the Chamber to Trustee members and guests while facilitating networking at Chamber functions.
Ambassadors serve as an extension of the Chamber's Trustee program by attending Trustee events in which they act as greeters, points of contacts for information, and connectors of event attendees.
To become an Ambassador:
• You must be a Chamber Trustee member in good standing
• You must have the willingness to commit time to attend Trustee functions ensuring all attendees feel welcome and at ease.
To determine if this program is right for you, ask yourself the following questions:
• Do I have time to commit approximately four hours per month to serve as a volunteer for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber? Would I like to increase visibility for my company and myself in the Greater Fort Lauderdale area?
• Am I able to meet people easily and make them feel welcome and comfortable in an unfamiliar setting?
• Am I energetic, enthusiastic and someone that thrives on having fun?

TRUSTEE BENEFITS
• Standing invitation to all Board Meetings & annual personal meeting with Chamber President/CEO.
• Quarterly Trustee New Member Orientation.
• Commit to specific networking time at every Board of Directors / Trustee luncheon. Trustee Ambassadors facilitate members getting to their tables to allow ample time for business card exchange and meaningful table networking.
• Establish communications with new Trustee members to make them feel welcome and engaged in the Chamber community.
• Help Trustees understand the value of their membership and assist with retention; re-engage non-active Trustee members.
• One-on-one's: Encourage Trustee's to meet one new person at each Trustee event and set-up an off-site one-on-one appointment.

Trustee Events Details;
Board of Directors / Trustee Luncheon
On the third Wednesday of each month, the Chamber provides a luncheon exclusively for the Chamber's Board of Directors and Trustee members. This high caliber event includes an update from the Chamber president on local and regional issues as well as the induction of any new Trustee members. Each month, a keynote speaker addresses timely issues in the community.
Trustee Receptions
Trustee reception are held once a month at a Chamber member's location who has been selected to host the event. The two-hour venue allows Trustee members to network with one another and build strong alliances. Each month, a speaker is invited to attend, to provide a short presentation on issues of importance to the Trustee members.
