The mission of the Trustee program is to involve senior executives in leadership roles the opportunity to meet and form alliances with other community leaders. We also discuss and reach consensus on pressing South Florida issues such as transportation, workforce development, regulatory reform and international trade to name but four.  This is offered through monthly Trustee receptions and Board of Directors/Trustee luncheons available only to the member designated as such, as well as round table discussions and forums maximizing your opportunity to learn and network.  Exclusive to the Trustee program is our 8-at-8 breakfast series which provides for a more intimate opportunity in which Trustees develop lasting relationships.

Marty Elberg, Circle of Life Legal Services

Circle of Life Legal Services is an estate planning practice that focuses on helping families enhance their lives today and secure their futures for tomorrow.  Attorney Marty Elberg helps guide clients through the often confusing maze of financial and legal decisions to create plans that ensure the well-being of families and the accomplishments of cherished family goals.

Marty Elberg graduated from California Western School of Law in 2006. After graduation, Marty moved back to his hometown of Eagle Grove, Iowa to be closer to his and his wife’s family where they could raise their boys with the same Midwestern values they learned.  Soon after he was admitted to the Iowa bar in 2007, he opened his own practice to serve the small town.  After several years of growing his business and transitioning their boys into responsible young men, Marty and his wife moved to Florida. He now resides in Fort Lauderdale with his wife, Susie. Their children live in Iowa and Virginia. One is in the Army National Guard and the other is in the US Navy.

Community involvement has always been a top priority for Marty. In April of 2015 he was appointed to the Board of Directors of Voices for Children of Broward County. This organization helps bring normalcy to neglected and abused children under the care of the state in Broward County.  He was also selected as one of three finalists for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Award.
