Altig to highlight Chamber’s Annual Meeting
One of the world’s most respected and accurate research economists will be the keynote speaker at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce’s 105 Annual meeting presented by the Galleria at Fort Lauderdale, January 13, 7:30 am at the Global Event Center at First Baptist Church.
Dr. David Altig, executive vice president and director of research at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, will meet with the Chamber’s Council of Economic Advisors at its quarterly meeting then make a presentation at the annual event attracting 400 attendees.
“There is a lot of optimism for 2015 as we pass the gavel from 2014 Chair Courtney Crush, Crush Law, to Calvin Glidewell, Broward Health Medical Center,” said Dan Lindblade, CAE, president and CEO of the Chamber. “Our leadership remains focused on sustaining the free enterprise system within our core economic areas of tourism, marine, real estate and international trade,” he said.
