Neither rain, nor wind nor clouds as black as night could keep The Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce Beach Council from the 52nd annual Christmas on Las Olas Tuesday night. From goodie bags from merchants to our landmark wave wall and "thumbs up" smiling sand man, our wishes for a Happy Holiday season brought smiles to every child, woman and man.
The Downtown Council hosted their monthly breakfast at the Tower Club where Steve Cernak, Port Director for the Broward County Port Everglades gave an update on the master plan.

The Chamber's B.E.S.T. - Broward's Elite Serving Tomorrow hosted a discussion regarding the re-authorization of the Children's Services Council (CSC) which will be in the hands of Broward County voters for the November 4th election.
