Looking for a Summer Intern? Broward Schools Can Help.

The Chamber's Board of Directors were treated to an insightful presentation, provided by Dr. Lisa Milenkovic and Lucille Flynn of Broward County Public Schools. They joined our April meeting to share details on how businesses in our community can help students achieve their goals in a number of ways.

Dr. Milenkovic details the school district's STEM program, which allows students to get a better feel for careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. She shared that there are now more than 150 robotics teams in Broward County Public Schools. If you would like more information on how to get involved and possibly sponsor a team, we have included information below.

Also, during our April Board of Directors' meeting, Lucille Flynn shared details on how businesses can build their own talent-filled pipeline. Broward County Public Schools is hoping to help students launch their careers by placing them in paid internships with organizations in our community. We have included a form with information on the requirements.
