On Thursday, May 24th, more than 75 female business leaders from the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce Women’s Council, Women’s Executive Club of Fort Lauderdale and Broward Women’s Alliance, gathered together at the new Allied Kitchen & Bath design center located at 3484 NE 12th Ave. in Oakland Park to support PACE Center for Girls Broward County. The fundraising event raised over $3,500.00 for the nonprofit organization, which provides a safe environment where at-risk middle and high school-aged girls can thrive.
The collaborative networking event, entitled 4 for the Girls – Powerful Women Empowering the Future, provided an opportunity for all three organizations to further their shared mission of empowering young girls to reach their highest potentials. All proceeds from the mixer went directly to PACE Center for Girls for their education and counseling services. The event concluded with a raffle, in which Peggy McIsaac of Allied Kitchen and Bath and Carolyn Zaumeyer of Women’s Executive Club shared the prize, winning 70 bottles of wines and spirits.
