Patrick Harris is the Corporate Marketing Representative with WLRN Public Radio & Television. Since arriving at the station in 1998, Patrick has raised over $9 million for the organization and he continues to see annual increases in his fundraising activity. Patrick takes pride in working with his clients to make sure that they experience the maximum benefit from their sponsorship of WLRN.
Patrick has been very active in Greater Fort Lauderdale Chambers of Commerce since joining in 2001. He has served on the Board of Directors, as Chair of the Trustee Program, Curriculum Chair for Leadership Fort Lauderdale and currently hosts the monthly INTRO-luncheon and was recently elected to the Downtown Council Board of Directors. Outside of work, Patrick is a volunteer and board member with The Center for Great Apes – a private sanctuary that cares for orangutans and chimpanzees who have been used in entertainment, research or kept as pets and who cannot be returned to the wild or sent to zoos. Additionally, he has been the instrumental music superintendent at the Miami Dade County Fair for over 20 years and is currently a member of the Junior Orange Bowl. In his free time, he enjoys working on his classic Mustang, attending a variety of cultural events, The Florida Panthers and singing karaoke and barbershop harmony.
