When I started my own consulting business and left Pitney Bowes, my first clients were two marinas in CT. I relocated to here and now, two years later, I’ve been able to help many new clients in South Florida and have become very active in the business community (for example, working with the Branding Committee and joining the Marine Advisory Committee at the Chamber!).
I’m writing you to announce that I have a new, specialized area of consulting in the marine industry. Fort Lauderdale is the yachting capital of the U.S. and my years of experience with the CT marinas have given me entrance into this great niche. Many of these marine companies don’t know how to market effectively in this new, digital age. What’s more, those that have tried are frustrated by bad experiences.
Here’s why I’m writing: my client base is growing steadily, mostly through referrals. Will you please be on the lookout for any of your friends or colleagues who are in the recreational marine industry?
What is the recreational marine industry? It’s everything from local marinas to boat dealers to companies servicing power boats, sailboats, and fishing boats. It includes companies that manufacture and service the engines and equipment used on these vessels, and encompasses condominiums and communities with their own private docks as well.
Recreational marine companies are located all over the U.S. and I can work with any organization by phone and online, so geography is not a concern. A marina or boat dealer in northern FL is as much of a prospect as one in Fort Lauderdale!
If you do see a potential match, will you please let me know? I’d love to chat with them to see if I can help them with their digital marketing. They can call me at 203.521.1752 or visit my website www.janetgranger.com. If I’m not the right person to help them I also know other great people in marketing who can!
Thanks so much for your help. If there’s anything I can do to help you, please let me know. And please do stay in touch with your news in the future!
