Session, Campaign, Blosser and Value
There are several items on which I need to update you...
Florida Senate President Mike Haridopolos blocked our statewide request to hear HB 307 on the last day of session. If passed, businesses would've saved $62 million in workers compensation premiums which would have been directed to job creation and economic expansion. Much thanks to all of you who took the time to react quickly. They heard us. We will have a full recap of the session later this month.
Now we need you to take part in our Seize the Value....100 Members in 100 Days campaign which kicks off this month. For every member you refer who joins you or your company will be qualified for sensational prizes. Weekend getaways, Heat Suite tickets, Hurricane Suite tickets....the list is long and the value is strong. Simply refer qualified prospects to the Chamber by sending your leads to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will check to make sure it is a new lead, we ask that you have prequalified the business so our call will not be a surprise.
Perhaps the best surprise Jim Blosser could have is your attendance at our Annual Downtowner of the Year luncheon where he will be honored for his lifetime achievements. I can't think of anyone more deserving to be honored and you want to be part of this experience. Join us on Thursday, March 22, beginning at 11:30 am at the Global Event Center at the First Baptist. Register here.
We have a number of other programs, products and services all available this month that should enhance your business. Please take a look at the calendar for more information.
