Transportation Forum Focuses on Mobility, Commerce
Perhaps never before has South Florida been so poised to meet the growth needs of our tri-county area and that is probably why we lead all urban areas with the lowest unemployment rate in Broward County.
By attending the Chamber's Transportation Forum, Wed., June 25, 11:30-1:30, Westin Cypress Creek, www.ftlchamber.com/transportation, you will learn first-hand the current state and future direction of our transportation strategies.
Along with the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association and the Broward Workshop, we have assembled the following leaders: All Aboard Florida President & COO Don Robinson, Metropolitan Planning Organization Executive Director Greg Stuart, Port Everglades CEO Steve Cernak, Florida Department of Transportation District Secretary Jim Wolfe, and City of Fort Lauderdale Director of Transportation and Mobility Diana Alarcon.
There will also be updated information available regarding Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), the Wave Streetcar Light Rail System and Broward County Transit.
This will be a working lunch and I recommend you and your colleagues attend. Call 954/462-600 for more information.
