(FORT LAUDERDALE)--The Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce announced today Ed Kwoka, of Innovatus Group, Inc. and president of Tropic Global Trading Partners, Inc., will join the city of Fort Lauderdale’s Infrastructure Task Force Committee, effective immediately. Chairman of the board Keith Costello made the appointment during Thursday’s board of directors meeting.
Kwoka is in his fourth term with the city’s Aviation Advisory Board, which he currently chairs. He also sits on the Chamber’s board of directors. In his more than 25 years as an entrepreneur, Kwoka has worked in the Aviation, Finance, Healthcare, Technology, Manufacturing and Telecommunications industries.
Kwoka is a seasoned pilot, flying both fixed winged aircraft as well as helicopters. He lives in Fort Lauderdale with his wife and enjoys kite-boarding and boating in his spare time.
He will be formally appointed during the commission meeting on April 4.
The Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce is comprised of over 1,300 companies representing over 295,000 employees throughout South Florida.
