With the COVID-19 pandemic continuing to change our day-to-day lives and the way businesses operate, a new Chamber member has developed a way to help small businesses in South Florida.
McNeill Signs, a South Florida custom sign manufacturer and installer, is looking for small businesses who were derailed by COVID-19 for a chance to win free commercial storefront signage. Jason Ditkofsky, the owner of McNeill Signs, was inspired to help in the best way he could and has committed to donate up to $100,000 worth of commercial storefront signage to those in the process of launching a new business or who need a refresh to their current one. Small business is the backbone of our local economy and the goal of the contest is to help support them in their time of need.
Now through August 28, 2020, companies can apply by sending a 500-word essay to email@example.com to share their story on why they are the most deserving of the new free commercial signage. Five lucky winners will receive services including - custom designs, channel letter manufacturing, permit acquisition, and complete installation. Applicants must have a commercial lease, abide by all city zoning, lease, and building code guidelines, and will need to cover the permit fees paid directly to the city.
Winners will be contacted via email throughout the month and be announced through McNeill Signs' Facebook and Instagram pages. Good luck to all applicants!
