Miller Construction Underway with Flagler Global Logistics' Countyline Corp Park Bldg 2

Miller Construction Company [1] is underway with fast-track construction of the 325,702-square-foot Building 2 at Flagler Global Logistics’ new Countyline Corporate Park in Hialeah. Miller is on track to deliver the next-generation industrial project this spring, and this month its crews completed the 197,000-square-foot Building 1 within the park.

Located at NW 97th Avenue and NW 158th Street, near the border of Miami-Dade and Broward counties, Buildings 1 and 2 are within Countyline Corporate Park’s 2.4 million-square-foot initial phase.  Designed by the Miami Lakes office of architectural firm Ware Malcomb, the tilt-wall Building 2 provides 32-foot clear ceiling height.

In Building 2, the general contractor’s sixth project for Flagler Global Logistics, Miller is also handling the full building Tenant Improvement including interior two-story office build-out, multi-brand showroom, production and distribution space for tenant CGI Windows & Doors, a PGT Innovations brand. To accommodate growth of CGI, which will move from its current, smaller Miami location into the new building, Miller is drawing on its decades of construction for the manufacturing sector. The project includes installing exceptional electrical capacity to power multiple window and door manufacturing lines; compressed air loops and oversized fans. ELM ARCH of Pinecrest designed the CGI build-out to maximize workflow efficiency.

Flagler Global Logistics has teamed with Miller Construction Company in creating a total of more than one million square feet of upscale industrial space in Miami-Dade County, including 380,300 square feet at South Florida Logistics Center, Miami and 423,944 square feet at Flagler
Station in Medley.

“The Miller team’s innovative solutions to each project’s challenges, and their proven ability to deliver fine craftsmanship on an aggressive timeline are vital in helping us capture the market’s strong demand for new, highly efficient industrial space,” said Christopher Sutton, executive vice president for Flagler Global Logistics.

Countyline Corporate Park Building 2’s engineering consultants are Langan (civil), DDA Engineers (structural) and Puga and Associates (MEP).

Master-planned to include a total of 8 million square feet of industrial space in multiple phases, Flagler Global Logistics’ Countyline Corporate Park provides quick access to I-75, Florida’s Turnpike and the Palmetto Expressway, as well as Miami International Airport, Port Miami and Port Everglades.

Founded in 1973, Miller Construction Company is a prominent South Florida design/builder and construction services firm serving industrial, commercial, healthcare, hospitality, educational, retail and multi-family markets. For information: [1].
