On Thanksgiving Day, November 22, 2012, iTRACE Foundation, Inc. and Emerge Broward will host the 2nd Annual Fort Lauderdale Turkey Trot & Paddle to raise funds and awareness to support healthy living across generations, with an emphasis on childhood obesity.

Approximately 2,000 runners and walkers of all ages are expected to participate in the Turkey Trot, a USA Track & Field-sanctioned race along scenic A1A/Fort Lauderdale Beach, while stand-up paddleboarders simultaneously participate in a 2M race in the ocean alongside the runners’ course. Thanksgiving costumes are encouraged!

The run/walk will begin promptly at 7:30 amat DC Alexander Park on A1A and SE 5th Street. Both the 5K Run/Walk and 2M Stand-Up Paddleboard will be professionally timed by Split Second Timing.
