Down Towner of the Year Awards

May 7th we had our Annual Downtowner of the Year honoring Denny O’Shea, President of Stiles Development company.  The luncheon was held at Hyatt Regency Pier 66 Panorama Room.  There were over 230 attendees along with all of Denny’s friends, family, coworkers and members of the Chamber.  It was a wonderful  luncheon, finishing off with a root-beer float in a glass made of chocolate. Art Serve Reception Arpil, 28

Leadership Fort Lauderdale and ArtServe members enjoyed an evening reception at the Chamber to introduce a British born artist Keith Pawlak, whose inspiration and motivation for each work of art is fueled by the colors he sees merged together in every day life. Music was proved by violinist Matthew O’Dea.

Leadership Fort Lauderdale Community Service Day, April 18, 2009

Class 15 met at the Partnership for the Homeless in Fort Lauderdale and painted the women’s dorms and shower areas and cleaned an re-hung blinds while several others took time to peel and chop loads of potatoes and carrots. (only one minor casualty)

Business after hours April, 16

Our April “Business after hours” was hosted by Bimini Boat Yard & Grill on 17th Street Causeway.  Over 100 people networking and enjoying their beautiful and delicious food and cocktails! What a great place for lunch, a banquet, or a happy hour.  We are very proud to have them as members and they treated us very well!!
