On-The Job Training (OJT) Grant
The On-the-Job Training (OJT) Grant supports Broward County businesses that are hiring and training new W-2 employees who have limited or no prior experience for the role. Eligible employers may receive reimbursement for up to 90% of the employee’s wages for up to 90 days of training.
Applications must be submitted before the employee is hired. This grant may also be used when promoting and training a current employee into a new position.
Incumbent Worker Training Grant
The Incumbent Worker Training Grant is designed for Broward County businesses that are upskilling or reskilling existing W-2 employees who have been with the company for at least six months. Qualified employers may be reimbursed for up to 90% of eligible training costs during the training period.
Businesses planning to offer multiple trainings may include all training programs within a single application.
