Dr. Ty Richardson serves as the Interim President and CEO of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, where he is focused on working with the board and team on advancing economic growth, strengthening regional business engagement, and positioning Greater Fort Lauderdale as a leading destination for innovation, entrepreneurship, and community impact.
A recognized business strategist, serial entrepreneur, and leadership expert, Dr. Richardson brings a dynamic and multidisciplinary background spanning business development, organizational leadership, capital access, coaching, media, and community engagement. Throughout his career, he has worked with entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, nonprofits, and emerging enterprises to help scale organizations, develop strategic partnerships, and create long-term economic and social impact.
Under Dr. Richardson’s leadership, the Chamber continues to focus on delivering meaningful member value, advocating for a strong and competitive business climate, and fostering collaboration between the private sector, government, and community stakeholders.
